We are proud to share the achievements of our very first Cambridge Primary Checkpoint at The Grange Institution (TGI). These assessments, graded by standardised Cambridge examiners, are based on the learning objectives within the Cambridge Primary curriculum framework.
Primary 6 Students Excel in International Assessment
Our pioneer batch of Primary 6 students sat for assessments in English, English as a Second Language, Mathematics, and Science. They performed above the international average scores in English, English as a Second Language, and Mathematics. These international averages are derived from the scores of thousands of international primary school students across hundreds of participating Cambridge schools worldwide.
80% of students achieved the High & Outstanding achievement bands for English Language. In Mathematics, 66% of students attained at least a High grade, with half of them in the Outstanding band. For English as a Second Language, it was a stellar 100% in the High achievement band.
Perfect Scores by Students
A special mention goes to two of our outstanding students, Thant Lin Htet and Ysabela Apostol Gonzales, both attaining perfect scores in Mathematics, and achieving the ‘Outstanding’ band in English.
At The Grange, we believe that language and numeracy literacy are key aspects of foundation building in the junior or primary schooling years. These are essential pillars in delivering a holistic curriculum aimed at developing global citizens. We are immensely proud of our students’ achievements.
