New International Preschool Along Singapore’s Green Belt

There’s a new international preschool in Singapore, and it is set to be a special one. The Grange International Preschool sits on a lush 3-acre compound at the heart of Yio Chu Kang Road, surrounded by lush greenery with the Lower Seletar Reservoir to its north and Thompson Nature Park to its west.

The 6 purposeful learning zones provide opportunities for different types of learning to take place.
The ‘Creative Pod’ serves as a maker area for children to construct and experiment with their ideas.
The ‘Mountain Top’ provides a focal point for our young learners to engage in show-and-tell, story-telling, public-speaking and performance in front of an audience.

Play-Based International Curriculum

The International Early Years Curriculum (IEYC) is an innovative curriculum for the education of young learners. It is based on best practices worldwide and the developmental needs of children age 3 – 5 years. The IEYC places the child at the heart of the learning, ensuring that learning is personalised and revolves around the needs and interests of the child. Read more about the IEYC here.

Holistic Future-focused Education

The Young CREATORS© represents the educational philosophy that drives the design of all learning experiences at the preschool. This future-focused philosophy is aimed at developing Global Citizens by equipping them with 8 core competencies: Communicative Person, Respectful of Others, Enquiring Mind, Active Citizen, Teamwork Oriented, Open Minded, Resilient Attitude and Self-Confidence.

We believe that happy children are better learners

Multidisciplinary Learning Blocks

We believe that effective learning must be holistic. Our learners also require skills that can be applied in the real world. Our learning blocks of Young Botanists, Young Chefs, Young Musicians and Young Artists promote not just inquiry, but also foster thinking, social, collaborative and self-management skills. Through well-designed play, our learners develop disciplinary and transdisciplinary skills while having lots of fun. Check out our learning blocks here.

Wall-Less Learning

Enjoying the lush, green environment, our students get planned opportunity to appreciate, understand and respect their natural surroundings. This includes spending time in the eco-garden and farm that includes organic fruit and vegetable plots, and edible flowers.

Students are encouraged to play an active role in co-managing the eco-garden with over a 100 varieties of plants, vegetables and flowers.

If a happy, safe, natural learning environment is what you want for your child, we would like to  invite you to speak with our Admissions team and book a visit to find out more about us by clicking on the link here.
